SO week 1 of my newly employed life is gone.. and all i can say is "Thank God!"
Okay so I may complain a lot, but i do love my job. I mean a company that is willing to give me CC first day on the job to buy a comp to MY spec is amazing, let alone giving me a lot of freedoms... however with great power gomes great responsibility
32 hour work weeks are long gone, now replaced with 55+, oh did I mention I also work from home on the weekends? yaaa its a drag at times.. but it has to be done.
If any of you want to be a designer, especially a web designer for a company that needs websites designed, coded, and ready 100% within 4 days... its not easy. For one, as the project progresses designs are thrown out the window or worked on.. then as days pass new elements are brought in... my first website, launched today and last night at 9pm a relative small change resulted in about 3 hours worth of work 'cause they decided to change verbage around.
I felt bad, i wasn't in the office when I would have been... but i had to leave early for a prior engagement at my house. I told them in advance i would leave early and made sure Friday would be an easy day of just bare QA.. nothing much more. Weellll Friday turned into much more, as new things were brought onto the website's plate and it kept on growing and growing from there...
yay for 55+ hour weeks with weekends.... thank god i'm getting paid a lot more.
Moving on..
Weight Loss is not really moving (which is good and bad) I mean i've been at 252-253 for about 2-3 weeks now.. and I"m happy with that, i've been so busy especially this past week that I can't even focus on weight loss or
hiit
I am eating aight, and living with my dad mid-week, well its like living like a cow.. most meals consists of more green than meat, and more vegetables than anything else... I am slowly growing to ike more and more vegetables.. had this really good Spinach dish the other night! 2 points to the step-mom.
My dad will be moving out soon, so that will leave me the condo to myself in walnut creek... a good haven that is close to my new job, and with 2 bedrooms a good crash pad for the monday night tourists.
Life is looking up, hopefully in a few months i'll have good schedule and be back into weight loss hardcore again :-) I give it 1 more month though, hopefully my weight won't go up and only down
Till then
CIAO!
